Here is a detailed description of the specs from GMarket:

(If that page doesn't load the first time try again. GMarket is a bit creaky.)
The one I am selling has a 1TB SSD instead of the base 256GB one in the ad.
I bought this item from Noteclub a month ago for 799,000 won (699,000 won plus 100,000 won for the SSD upgrade). I was very interested in the 4k display. The CPU, while a little old (2019), is an 8-core (all high-power) 9880H, which is pretty good even by today's standards. To keep it from getting hot while watching Youtube in the future, you can force Chrome (or whatever) to show videos in vp9/h.265 format (in the future videos will convert to av1 format, which was not a thing in 2019).
Before making this purchase, I spent a ridiculous amount of time chatting with Gemini and ChatGPT, and learned a lot about laptops. And I also continually looked at ads on GMarket. I guarantee this is the cheapest 4k laptop you will get, unless there is some steal on Karrot.
I am selling for two reasons:
1) I started worrying about my room... which is humid and has visible mold. Gemini says this laptop, while better than most laptops (it is a "MILSPEC"-tested workstation), is somewhat of a risky choice for holding up in my room over time, since it's thin. I hesitated to open the box from Noteclub for a while.
2) The real kicker happened a few days ago. I was getting ready to open up the laptop but asked Gemini a few more questions. It turns out the amazing 4k “Dreamcolor” display will be a pain in the ass to deal with in Linux. My plan the whole time was to switch to Linux (and have Windows 10 in a VM), but Gemini says that particular model will will be a battle to deal with in Linux (since making the colorspace of the pro-grade monitor match Internet colorspace will need to be reset every time I use the computer, and won’t even work in the VM). If you’re fine with Windows, no problem. And the display is supposed to be awesome.
I’ll repeat: THE LAPTOP IS STILL IN THE BOX FROM NOTECLUB, UNOPENED. It should be in excellent refurbished condition.
I can meet on the Seoul subway line on the weekend after 3pm. Night is okay. The Northeast are of Seoul/Gyeonggi-do is easiest.
