We are looking for a thoughtful and detail-oriented Makeup Expert / Makeup Consultant to provide high-quality asynchronous text-based consultations for users who want personalized makeup guidance.
This role focuses on helping users understand which makeup styles, products, colors, textures, and techniques best suit their facial features, skin tone, skin concerns, personal style, and beauty goals. We are looking for someone who can provide practical, personalized recommendations that feel easy to understand and realistic to apply in daily life.

Compensation: ₩30,000 per hour

Key Responsibilities / 주요 업무
English
Review user-submitted photos, skin information, preferences, and beauty goals to provide personalized makeup guidance
Recommend suitable makeup styles based on the user’s face shape, features, skin tone, skin texture, and desired image
Provide guidance on base makeup, foundation tone, concealer, blush, contour, highlighter, eye makeup, brows, lip products, and overall makeup balance
Explain which colors, finishes, textures, and techniques are likely to be most flattering, and why
Suggest practical makeup routines for different goals, such as daily makeup, natural makeup, glow-up makeup, date makeup, photo makeup, or Korean-style makeup
Help users understand how to improve makeup application, product layering, longevity, and overall finish
Provide personalized product-type recommendations, such as what kind of foundation, cushion, lip tint, blush, or eye palette may suit the user
Respond to user questions through clear, thoughtful, and well-structured written consultation
Create concise, useful, and easy-to-apply written feedback that users can follow in real life

Qualifications / 지원 자격
English
Experience in makeup consulting, makeup artistry, beauty consulting, K-beauty, image consulting, or a related beauty field
Strong understanding of makeup techniques, facial features, skin tone matching, product textures, and overall makeup balance
Ability to communicate recommendations clearly and warmly in writing
Comfortable reviewing user photos and providing personalized beauty guidance
Strong attention to detail and a thoughtful, client-centered approach
Ability to provide practical advice for real users, not just theoretical beauty knowledge

Experience conducting makeup consultations or makeup lessons for real clients
Strong familiarity with K-beauty trends, Korean makeup aesthetics, current product preferences, and popular makeup looks
Experience with base makeup matching, color matching, feature-based makeup recommendations, or corrective makeup techniques
Ability to recommend practical options rather than only theoretical explanations
Basic English reading and writing ability is a plus
Experience writing consultation summaries, client-facing recommendations, or beauty guidance materials
