DevOps / Platform Engineer (Azure) - Expression of Interest

We’re an Australian ag-tech company, currently with remote team members in South Korea, and exploring the feasibility of expanding our local presence over the next 6 months.
This role is part of an expression of interest only- we’re collecting resumes to assess seniority, skills and salary fit before proceeding with a hire.
Role overview
• Salary range: ₩40–50M KRW (gross)
• WFH initially
• Potential future office in Gyeonggi-do (dependent on applicants and growth)
• All Korean statutory benefits apply

- Strong documentation (runbooks, templates)
- Works closely with dev teams (enablement over gatekeeping)
- Pragmatic, automation-first approach
Role context
You would work under the guidance of our Tech Lead, whose focus is on enabling the development team and platform to scale - building strong foundations, removing friction, and supporting sustainable growth rather than day-to-day firefighting.

We’re open to a range of experience levels and are primarily interested in practical exposure, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Hands-on experience with some of the areas listed (not necessarily all)
- Experience working alongside developers on cloud, DevOps, or platform work
- Exposure to Azure environments in production or near-production settings
- An interest in automation, infrastructure as code, and platform enablement
We do not expect deep expertise in every area listed above.
Support, guidance, and technical direction will be provided by the Tech Lead.
