SSLI is seeking highly qualified instructors for our Summer Intensive Reading Program (Grades 7–9).
This is not an ESL position.
Our students are academically strong and fluent in English. The role is closer to a literature-based academic class, requiring instructors who can:
Teach novels and advanced reading materials
Lead high-level discussions
Develop students’ critical reading and analytical writing skills
Deliver structured lessons in:
Vocabulary
Academic Reading Skills
Grammar
Academic Writing
SSAT / PSAT / SAT Foundations
Program Schedule
Session 1: June 15 – July 3
Session 2: July 6 – July 24

Requirements
Native-level English proficiency
Must be a citizen of:
United States
Canada
United Kingdom
Ability to teach literature and advanced academic content
Strong classroom presence, preparation, and enthusiasm
