EDISEN Academy – ESL Teacher (Grade 6, Daechi Campus)
EDISEN Academy is seeking a dedicated and professional teacher to lead our Grade 6 program at our Daechi campus. This position involves working with academically strong students in a structured, discussion-based learning environment.
1. Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
Teach advanced ESL classes focused on reading, writing, and discussion
Lead novel-based lessons that emphasize critical thinking and expression
Take full responsibility as a homeroom teacher, including student management and parent communication
Guide students in developing structured writing and speaking skills
Design and implement supplementary activities to deepen understanding
Track student progress and complete written evaluations and reports
Maintain a structured and engaging classroom environment
Participate in meetings, training sessions, and academy events
2. Candidate Qualifications
All candidates must:
Be a native English speaker
Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Be eligible for an E-2 visa or hold an F-series visa
Have an apostilled diploma and criminal background check
Be physically and mentally fit to work
Preferred Qualifications
We give preference to teachers who:
Have at least 2 years of classroom teaching experience (elementary level preferred)
Have experience teaching upper elementary or middle school-level students
Are confident in leading discussion-based, writing-focused classes
Are comfortable taking full responsibility as a homeroom teacher, including direct parent communication
Are interested in long-term employment and professional growth
3. Working Conditions
Campus: Daechi
Student Level: Grade 6 (high-level, academically driven students)
Curriculum: Fully provided (novel-based, structured system)
Schedule (Monday–Friday)
2:30 PM – 9:50 PM
Teaching Load
6 teaching hours per day + 1 hour prep time
4. Compensation
Starting from 4.3 million KRW/month
(Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

Coverage under Korea’s 4 National Insurances
Severance Pay: One month’s salary upon completion of a 1-year contract
Paid Time Off:
Approximately 21 total paid days off per year, including:
Korean national holidays
Some national holidays may be observed on alternate dates based on the academic calendar
